Whether you need someone to help you find your story, create words for you, or simply a set of sharp eyes to polish and boost words you’ve already written, I’m your girl.  I hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in public relations, and I’ve been helping clients tell better stories for nearly a decade. I’d love to learn how I can help you, too.

A Manifesto

Here at SWS, I operate on the following beliefs and principles.

I believe in the power of storytelling, and that means helping my clients discover and communicate powerful, authentic and effective stories to their customers.
I believe that getting people to your website is important, but providing something real once they’re there is what keeps them coming back.
I believe in the importance of building lasting and loyal relationships, and that shapes how I interact with my own clients as well as how I help them design their communications with their customers.
I believe in honesty and integrity, which is why I set out expectations with all my clients in a contract.  I want us to be on the same page so we can focus on doing good work together.
I believe that business, when done right, is personal.

 On a Personal Note

Sarah Elizabeth Dittmann of Sarah Writes Stories

I swear I don’t always look this cheeky.

Because I’m a storyteller at heart, I’m always interested in knowing the people behind the business.  If that’s how you are, too, then here are some things that might interest you about me.

I’m a Kansas City girl, born & raised, but my heart takes holidays in London and my soul has a permanent home away from home in Paris.
I have two long-haired chihuahuas who are half-cat and one cat who is half-dog.
The love of my life and I are busy preparing our home for our first child, who is scheduled to make his grand entrance in March.
I’m a bit of a health and fitness nut, having lost more than 110 pounds a couple of years before I got pregnant.
I also write fiction (short stories, screenplays and the occasional attempt at a novel) under the pen name Elizabeth Ditty.  You can read about those endeavors (and more about my life in general) at my personal blog, Elizabethan Theatre.
